The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2011. Since its inception, it has been imparting quality technical knowledge to all its undergraduate students. There are more than half a dozen of laboratories with advanced equipments which can cater many research activities. The department offers 4-year B.Tech. program in Civil Engineering with a current intake of 48 students. The cubiculum of the Civil Engineering Department is designed to produce good practicing engineers who will proved to be worthy of employment in the various industries.

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineers build the world’s infrastructure. It is an age-old profession and has been defined traditionally as a great art, on which the wealth and the well-being of the whole of society depend.
