Basic Science & Humanities

HoD Message

“Science clears the field on which Technology can build”, a famous quote from Heisenberg, a renowned scientist. A strong basic background of mathematics, physics and presentable communication skill is essential to become a good Engineer. A dedicated team of excellent faculty members from institutes of national repute has made the strong foundation of our Department, Basic Science and Humanities. A good mutual understanding among the faculty members with ample support from the administration/Management is our strength. We are the first step that every learner takes as soon as they enter the college irrespective of their programs of study.

On behalf of BSH Dept, we stand committed to IIE’s pursuit of excellence.

BSH DEPARTMENT

The foundation of an engineering student’s education is built upon a strong understanding of basic sciences, which includes mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. Beyond technical expertise, an individual needs to cultivate professional values and ideologies to emerge as a well-rounded and successful person. In addition to mastering the application of basic sciences, knowledge in humanities and effective communication skills are key to shaping a complete engineering professional. The Department of Basic Science and Humanities at Ideal Institute of Engineering offers a comprehensive platform for students to enhance their foundational knowledge in subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. The department also focuses on developing essential professional English communication skills and corporate business etiquette, helping students grow with a strong sense of ethics and value-based decision-making.
