Python is an easy to learn, powerful programming language. It has efficient high-level data structures and a simple but effective approach to object-oriented programming. Python’s elegant syntax and dynamic typing, together with its interpreted nature, make it an ideal language for scripting and rapid application development in many areas on most platforms.

Objective:

The objectives that should be kept in mind are:

1. Python is commonly used for developing websites and software, task automation, data analysis, and data visualization.
2. Since it’s relatively easy to learn, Python has been adopted by many non-programmers such as accountants and scientists, for a variety of everyday tasks, like organizing finances.
3. Provide prompt response to user requests for data.
4. Data analysis and machine learning, Web development, Automation or scripting, Software testing and prototyping Everyday tasks

The IT Workshop lab focuses on this very aspect and utilizes it in order to give the students a great experience at learning.
