The Out-Door Sports Club of IIE, Kalyani organized an exciting Interdepartmental Short-Hand Cricket Tournament titled “Chairman’s Challenge Cup”, on 8^th and 9^th April 2025  featuring 8 teams (each comprising 9 players + 2 substitutes). Cricket, being one of the most loved sports, brought great energy, fitness, and entertainment to all. The first match between Team Unity and Team Bahubali resulted in a walkover win for Team Bahubali, as Team Unity failed to report on time. The second match was played between Team Spark and Team Zero Tolerance. The third match featured Team Bo code vs Team Deccan Chargers. The fourth match saw Team Velocity taking on Team Civil Hunters.

After intense competition, the final match was held between Team Zero Tolerance and Team Bahubali. Team Bahubali emerged victorious, claiming the championship, while Team Zero Tolerance finished as Runners-up. A special mention goes to Mr. Rohit Pandit (3rd Year, CSE Department), a member of Team Zero Tolerance, who was awarded the Man of the Tournament for his outstanding performance throughout the event.
