Examination Committee

The Examination Committee of Ideal Institute of Engineering is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of administering and supervising all examination-related activities conducted by the Institute in strict adherence to the rules, regulations, and academic guidelines prescribed by MAKAUT. Functioning as a key academic body, the Committee works in close coordination with the Academic Committee to ensure that every assessment process is transparent, systematic, and academically robust.

Its duties encompass the meticulous planning and execution of internal assessments, class tests, sessional examinations, and semester-end examinations held on campus. This includes allocating invigilation duties, arranging seating plans, and ensuring the secure handling, distribution, and storage of question papers and answer scripts. The Committee also oversees the smooth conduct of university examinations, compliance with standard operating procedures, and timely submission of all examination-related reports and records to the appropriate authorities.

Beyond logistical responsibilities, the Examination Committee ensures fairness and integrity in the evaluation process. It monitors examination practices to prevent malpractice, facilitates moderation and scrutiny procedures as mandated, and supports faculty in maintaining accurate academic records. The Committee further ensures that students receive necessary information regarding examination rules, results, and any updates arising from university directives.

Through these structured efforts, the Examination Committee upholds the academic standards of the Institute and reinforces a culture of accountability, discipline, and academic excellence in alignment with the vision of MAKAUT and the decisions of the Academic Committee.

Functions of Examination Committee:

  • To conduct the Internal/ External/ Practical Examinations for all the programs offered in the College.
  • To prepare Time Table for the Internal/Practical Examination in line with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Schedule .
  • To allot the exam halls for all the examinations conducted in the College.
  • To ensure that all the question papers are prepared well in advance.
  • To collect all the answer scripts and the supporting documents required..
  • To address the grievances/ complaints of the students and staff concerning exam-related issues.
