Ideal Institute of Engineering offers the AICTE approved and MAKAUT affiliated B. Tech. course in Mechanical Engineering which is basically a core branch of engineering and one of the largest & fastest growing fields, which generally deals with the three broad areas of specialization i) Design ii) Thermal and iii) Manufacturing. The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2011 with the objective to develop professionals through quality education with an intake of 48 students.
The department has good infrastructural facilities and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories such as strength of material, manufacturing, fluid, design, dynamics of machine, thermal and IC engine lab. As a part of the curriculum, Industrial Visits are arranged for students. The Departmental faculties are a mix of industrial and academic experts with highly qualified and experienced Professors. Our main objective is to convey knowledge with innovative ideas to students in the teaching-learning process.
The present course is molded keeping in view the growing demand for integration of modern advances in electronics and computer technology into the mechanical field. The division is striving to educate students as the next generation of engineers capable of becoming leaders in industry, government and academia.
